
ASTgym offers the opportunity to be part of a competitive team that includes several coaches and specialists. Our competitive program allows athletes to participate in various competitions, achieve their goals, and push their limits. Training hours vary depending on the group you are part of.

Wearing the gymnastics leotard, purchasing the competition uniform, and participating in competitions and fundraising activities are mandatory and must be renewed annually. Further information is available in the club's bylaws, which are sent to our members at the beginning of each school year.

Wimgym offers everyone the opportunity to participate in our auditions for the competitive sector, which take place in the summer. ​More information will be available at the end of May.

Mini relief group
For girls aged 5-6 who have advanced motor development and love to move.

Training twice a week for 5 hours per week. The program's focus is an introduction to competitive training methods and the fundamentals of movement.

Bronze-rated up-and-coming group
This group is made up of 6-7 year old girls who have advanced motor skills and enjoy trying new gymnastic moves. They train three times a week for a total of seven hours of training per week.
The gymnasts in this group focus on mastering the fundamentals of gymnastic movements while being introduced to competitive training methods.

Silver relief group
This program is for girls aged 6 to 8 who have done gymnastics or have advanced motor development.
Training three times a week for 7 to 9 hours per week.
Program guided by assessments from the Gymnastics Quebec Challenge 1 and 2 programs. Aimed at preparing for regional or provincial level.

Provincial Silver Group
This program is for gymnasts aged 9 and up who already have experience in the competitive program of the Quebec Gymnastics Federation.
The JO 5-6-7 (Junior Olympic) program allows gymnasts to progress at their own pace and move from one level to the next, according to their personal development.
Training takes place 5 times a week, totaling 18 to 20 hours per week, in conjunction with the sports-study program.
Perhaps a gateway to the national aspect.

Provincial Gold Group
This program is for gymnasts aged 9 and up who already have experience in the competitive stream of the Quebec Gymnastics Federation.
The JO 7-8-9 (Junior Olympic) program allows gymnasts to progress at their own pace and move from one level to the next, according to their personal development.
Training takes place 5 times a week, totaling 14 to 20 hours per week, in conjunction with sports-study classes. This program may serve as a gateway to the national level.

Public school
Offers elite sports classes for our gymnasts from grades 7 to 11. These classes provide a high-quality academic program and support. In the afternoons, the ASTgym club takes over, offering well-supervised training with highly experienced coaches certified by the NCCP.
ASTgym club and its partners also offer multidisciplinary support with specialists from the CDESL des Laurentides which offers support in Kinesiology, Psychology, Nutrition and other fields.

Académie Ste-Thérèse
Private school
Offers elite sports classes for our gymnasts, from third grade through fifth grade. These classes provide a high-quality academic program and support. In the afternoons, the ASTgym club takes charge of the gymnasts for well-supervised training with highly experienced coaches certified by the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program).
