AVAILABLE TRAINING PROGRAMS

The club offers support to people interested in the world of gymnastics instruction. With basic training at the ASTGym club and the PNCE, with an internship with and monitoring by the responsible coach.

THE INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

This Program is designed for 14-15 year olds who would like to learn teaching methods for recreational gymnastics, progressing towards the competitive level. This training is offered by the ASTgym Gymnastics Quebec club (NCCP - Instructor )

THE ASSISTANT COACH PROGRAM

This program is for individuals aged 15 and over who are looking for part-time work. Training is offered by ASTgym and Gymnastics Quebec (NCCP - Foundation).

THE COACHING PROGRAM

This program is for individuals aged 16 and over seeking part-time or full-time employment. Candidates must have completed their NCCP Foundation certification. Regular training courses offered by ASTgym are required. The level of certification required by the club and provided by the Fédération de Gymnastique du Québec (NCCP) will depend on the level of the group being taught.

PRESCHOOL & RECREATIONAL COACH

RECREATIONAL SECTOR

PART-TIME

The coach reports to and is under the authority of the Recreation Director and works as part of the coaching team. The coach manages planning activities, ensuring everyone's safety and adherence to club rules. The position involves managing a group of participants within the club's predefined program, participating in training sessions, and maintaining attendance lists and progress reports for assigned group members.
